Viktoriapark is another nice park but the special thing about it is that it has the Kreuzberg (cross hill) which is the name of the district. It's supposedly the highest natural point of Berlin!

Tempelhofer Feld is an old airport that has been closed in 2008 and re-opened as a public park so it's perfect to just relax or do all kinds of sports on the airstrips. The sunsets are superb!

On the north side of Mariannenplatz opposite of the church there is old Mr Kalin's tree house. He's Turkish and built it there when the wall was still there. A crazy piece of history.

Böhmischer Platz is the centre of beautiful Rixdorf, a very old part of Neukölln that was home to religious refugees many years ago. Check it out for its village character and nice restaurants.

Probably my favourite shop in Neukölln: Super friendly Azra gives you free tea and sells Indian jewellry, home accessories and clothes and in the back room there is some vintage and antiquities.
