According to legend, the first emperor, Emperor Jinmu founded when arrived at Namba from Kyushu, and worshiped the Goddess near Osaka Castle now. It was moved to the current place. On the right hand side (north side) of the precincts, many shrines are enshrined and will fulfill various wishes of people.

鶴橋駅から近鉄電車で30分、そこから徒歩10分。

It occupies the east of Nara city, it is united with Kofukuji Temple, Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine and National Museum, and it has become a vast park worthy of the ancient capital from Wakakusa Mountain to Kasugayama primitive forest.
It is 30 minutes from Tsuruhashi Station to Nara Station by Kintetsu express train and 10 minutes on foot from there.
