Excellent Vietnamese food!
Saiguette only delivers but it is rated one of the best Pho's in NYC, so its really worth it.Excellent Vietnamese sandwiches, summer rolls and shrimp/pork/vegetable dumplins

Cozy Coffee shop a block north of apartment.
Lots of books, beer on tap, salads and sandwiches and coffee all day.

Comfortable low-key coffee and simple breakfast place. The greek omelette or wrap is good and the staff is very friendly.

In my opinion Fika is the best coffee in NYC.
Consistently excellent - worth the trip. There is a new one opening in the Apthorp building in Upper West Side.

Very famous breakfast place for 'American Breakfast'. Its good but for the week as I don't think the long lines in the weekend brunch are worth it.
