One of the most “unknown” spots of the NORTH. If you dare to drive through, do not just stay in the parking lot whereabouts, keep on walking to the top above the old fishermen’s storehouses… to one of the most tasty “Bollits de peix” ever tried. Besides, the swimming spot is also flawless… -in my humble opinion. -

Food scene

Cala Saladeta, the smaller sibling of Cala Salada is such a lovely spot. Besides, in Cala Salada Restaurant I ate my firs Bollit de Peix + Arròs a Banda… possibly one of the most famous and delicious traditional dishes from The Island. As a curious fact, the way they prepare and serve such delicatessen extremely differs from the way it is prepared and served in the North of The Island. To contrast with “Can Salvadó” restaurant, at the end of Es Pou des Lleó Cala/beach, in example…

From a gastronomic point of view, Can Txiki may represent the ensamble of cultures of the Island as well as matches with the easy going and lively vibe of summers in Eivissa. Therefore, it is not rare to find a mixture of specialities that will give you a taste that ranges form the Basque Country to Italy… while other more common but stunning local daily specials won’t stop surprising their guests. Easy, fresh, cool and beyond… local prices for such international offer.

CULTURE

It is widely known that Eivissa did attract -and may still do- all sort of contemporary artists. What you’d find in the Local Contemporary art museum is a very well curated collection of the most representative artists that, in one way or another, have been connected to The Island. Besides, regular exhibitions take the visitor further deep into the most top quality and unique contemporary art discourse. Curated by Enrique Juncosa and his panel of experts, none of the exhibitions, either Solo or collective shows have not, up to now, left anyone indifferent.
