The Cornmill has amazing food and fantastic views across the river Dee. In warmer weather the large outdoor deck is a must. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend booking ahead, it’s very popular!

City/town information
Llangollen is a very special place. It has lots of shops, restaurants and a steam railway. The river Dee runs through the middle of it. There’s always something going on , from The Fringe( musicians and comedians) to the world famous Eisteddfod which is held every July. You can take a horse drawn boat trip along the canal . I love to grab a coffee at Fouzis right on the bridge and people watch.

My favourite shopping
Oswestry is a lovely little market town. There are plenty of little independent shops and places to eat. The high street also has a Boots and Marks and Spencer’s food hall . There’s a little gallery , The Willow which also has an excellent cafe.
