This is one of my favorite places to eat! Such a beautiful outdoor space, and Debbie Gwynn, the owner is a personal friend, and gives her all to this restaurant, which has been in their family for generations. Please get the tortilla soup…we literally crave this!

This is another family favorite! Our boys love their pulled pork sandwiches, and I ALWAYS order the chicken fajita salad with avocado and their famous cilantro-lime dressing.

We love the muffins, the owner, and the jalapeño sweet potato soup, and their sandwiches which are made homemade bread…they also have gluten free options. You will love how close this one is to the Dandy House too! Great for breakfast and lunch…fun fact: This was Amanda’s very first job when she was just 15!

We’ve never had a bad option here…so delicious all around. This is a wonderful place for lunch and for dinner.

We adore the owners of this coffee shop, and you will be hooked on their coffees and gourmet toasts! Their avocado toast is to die for, and we love getting The Basic Bee (a lavender and honey coffee)…but it’s really hard to pick a favorite!

176 S Madison AveWe adore the owners of this coffee shop, and you will be hooked on their coffees and gourmet toasts! Their avocado toast is to die for, and we love getting The Basic Bee (a lavender and honey coffee)…but it’s really hard to pick a favorite!
City/town information
Our family (The Mellon Family of Mellon Farms), have been growing vegetables in this beautiful salad bowl for 4 generations. Yuma is a desert miracle, in that it can sustain the growing of such tender vegetable plants. From September through April you will see vegetable fields either getting prepped, growing, or being harvested, and in the summer months those same fields will grow wheat, alfalfa, sudan, and cotton.
In addition to growing approximately 90% of the nation’s lettuce during our growing season, Yuma has some other amazing features. Our Colorado River is stunning, and can be enjoyed by tubing, boating, fishing, or just swimming in the warmer months. You can access the river at Gateway Park, and can dock at West Wetlands park. We also have so much to appreciate and admire in the desert, via UTV, or by hiking Telegraph Mountain. Our downtown district boasts several darling shops, yummy restaurants, and our favorite coffee shop, Cafecito!
Lastly, we can’t offer recommendations without offering to please come visit our brick and mortar shop, Dandy Home and Ranch, for home decor and gift inspiration. We are located at 2500 E. 16th St. and our hours are Tue-Sat 9am-5:30pm.
