A lot of West Asheville's unique shops, breweries, cafes, restaurants, and clubs are located around Haywood Road. Some of the city's favorite brunches are within 20 minutes' walk--Sunny Point Cafe is highly recommended (and often busy, so plan accordingly). Bar/music venues (and occasional flea market venues) like Fleetwood's Rock & Roll Chapel and the Odditorium are part of West Asheville's unique nightlife and cultural scene.
