Can't go wrong with this place. Jack Kerouac spent most of his time in SF here and it has a great vibe. The artist's bar. Sit upstairs for more intimacy and better views.

If you're a whiskey fan, go there immediately. They have countless shelves of anything you could want, even the reserves. Good dinner and it's right on the water.

Historic! Been around since the 1930s. More upscale with fantastic cocktails (they are known for their coffee cocktails!) Dinner is great if you choose to grab a table. A very romantic place for sure.

Another of my favorite bars and/or restaurants. Delicious dinner and drinks. Really recommend the Bourbon Banana Bread Pudding while you dine accompanied by live music performed from a balcony.

Favorite pizza place in the hood! There's so much good pizza around here, but if you're looking for an authentic Sicilian slice without the fuss, this place is worth any 1 AM wait.

Lovely park to sit and enjoy the sun! Nobody will care if you bring a bottle of wine, either. On weekends art dealers set up their works, and you'll usually encounter folks practicing Tai Chi.
