If you have ever tried Kawartha Dairy, you will already know how amazing the ice cream is! So I definitely would recommend trying out the best ice cream at its origin city! Kawartha Dairy originated in Lindsay. The dairy shop's location in the middle of the city means that you can park your car and go on a scenic walk around downtown with your ice cream. They have many flavour options and if ice cream is not for you, there are other menu items that you can try as well!

I tried schnitzel for the first time here and it blew my mind! The food is absolutely delicious and is a hidden gem of the city. If you love mushrooms, I would definitely recommend their baked mushroom appetizer. Bon Appetit!!

Being able to see a huge part of our Canadian transport history in Lindsay is a great part of the visit. The beautiful garden and park nearby means that this spot is great for all members of your family. It's also wonderful to take pictures next to it and fun to learn about!

The city of Lindsay is a great place to visit while staying at our cottage! The city has a cute small-town vibe and has many of its historic buildings, canals and dams beautifully preserved. It's a wonderful place to explore and you can learn about some Canadian history!
