Harry's Alehouse is a volunteer favorite! Whenever we pick a place to meet after a long day at the farm, we generally always decide on Harry's. The food is great, the atmosphere is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. And being an animal lover, one of my favorite things is photos of their customer's dogs on their walls around the restaurant.

If you are looking for a great date night restaurant, Fahrenheit 132 is a great one. This upscale restaurant is located in historic Downtown Fredericksburg. They have been named as one of the best steak restaurants in Fredericksburg.

Beautiful Lake Anna is Virginia's largest man made lake. Lake Anna was made to cool the reactors for the Lake Anna nuclear power plant. The lake has two sides, the cold (public) and warm (private) sides. Visit the lake through one of the many marinas or the Lake Anna State Park.

Kayaking on the Rapidan
If you enjoy canoeing and kayaking, the water access on Elys Ford Rd allows for parking and insertion of kayaks into the river. The Rapidan River flows to the Rappahannock. Maps of the river available at the parking area.
