We love the Captain Cook Hotel! It's beautiful! It is expensive but...It's worth a visit. Even if it's just to stop for an espresso or a cocktail. There is original artwork, a replica of Cook's diary from the 1700's, a café, a bistro, fine dining and an English Pub.
