Sightseeing
The Gatineau Park is within walking distance (out of the house and turn right at the 1st turn, and then turn right), you can reach to trail #5.
If you drive or bike to the north, you will find the renowned Pink Lake and other attractions of Gatineau Park.
In the winter, cross-country skiing starts from the trailhead, which is less then 10 minutes walk on trail #5.

After leaving the house, walk on Rue de la Chimère until you see a parking lot. You will find a small entrance to the Lac-Dee-Fées trail. The lake is beautiful.

Lake Leamy Park is in the area of the Casino. Further away, there are many nice restaurants on Rue Jacques-Cartier after crossing Pont Lady Aberdeen.

Cycling and walking on the trails
If you like cycling, the trails around Rideau Canal and Rideau River in Ottawa are breathtaking.
The trails around the Ottawa River on both Ottawa and Gatineau sides are world famous.
Some of the trails in Gatineau Park are harder because of the slops and designs.
On the Gatineau side, the trails to Lake Leamy Park and La Baie Park are worth visiting. On Rue Jacques Cartier, you will see the Parliament and the Ottawa River on the well-paved trails.
