Excellent food, mostly sourced from local farms and growers, excellent service and great atmosphere. Laurie Lee's favourite. Now have an expanded outdoor seating/dining area too. Booking in advance for lunch and dinner is strongly advised, if not a must! Especially at weekends.

Bustling local market, fantastic for local veg, flowers, eggs, cheeses, bread, pastries and handicrafts, as well as hot food stalls. Great atmosphere. Make sure to get there before 11 to try one of Pippins doughnuts :)
