Beautiful stone walled gardens with flowers for sale, a restaurant and accompanying gift shop. There is a maze and insect hotel for kids. There are lots of walking trails surrounding the walled gardens too, varying from short loops to an hour long walks. It is a 5 minute drive from the outskirts of town.

One of the best walks along the wild Atlantic way. It has a path that follows the cliffs and a lovely restaurant at the start/end called the Diamond rocks. Located in the next town of Kilkee, less than 15 minute drive.

Activity
The aqua park is located just 2 mins for the house. The obstacle course is a great way for a family, groups or solo travellers to spend a few hours.
West Coast Aqua Park
The MarinaThe playground is adjacent to Cappa beach and is a 2 minute drive from the house or 10/15 minute walk. The walk to the playground from the house follows Kilrush town trail so is very scenic.

This beach is about a 12 minute drive away near the village of Doonbeg. You can park near the hotel and walk the beach. There is also a surfers entrance that brings you through the golf course 😀

Spanish point is a great beach to visit anytime for swimming or surfing. I would however, totally recommend joining the tribe of sea swimmers that venture out as part of Snámhaí Sásta every morning at 9am. It’s about 20-25 drive away.
