If you’re looking for bars, restaurants, and night life, Shockoe Bottom is the place to be! Located a mile from the house, Shockoe bottom is easily accessible by bike, car, or a walk if you don’t mind a 20 minute walk.

Located on the other side of the city, The Fan is still only 3 miles from the house. VCU is in this area, so there is a lot of college nightlife, restaurants, dive bars, and brunch spots. It backs up into the Museum District.
