Premier hiking trail in the United States, running from Maine to Georgia. While the trail is less than three miles from our lodge, it is difficult to access through our location in the National Forest. It is easier to drive and park to an access point and then hike as far and as long as you like. The most convenient point is Apple Orchard on the Blue Ridge Parkway. You can also check out the local AT club website for more information.
