Beautiful town around 2 hours drive away from home, very pretty scenic drive. A must do whilst in Akoroa is Dolphin watching cruise, pre booking required and warm clothing. Amazing experience and you may even see a whale whilst out on the boat. Cannot recommend this experience enough.

Lovely place for a picnic and seeing the beautiful gardens. Often live music is played in the weekends.
