For me the best place to catch the Aurora borealis in the winter time. There is also a very nice place have a barbeque in the west side of the lake called "Korkeaniemi". Lovely views over there.

Said to be the only building that survived the 1940's in the area dating back to 1800's. Don't forget to take cash with you since the place is old-fashioned and don't have a card machine. This is a must!

Taxi from airport is about 50 eur. Bus is 10 eur/person
Taxi from airport to Levi is around 40-50 euros. Bus takes some 10-15 minutes more, but costs 10 euros per person. Two-way ticket to bus is 18 euros.
