Pages Creek Preserve is a wonderful nature hike that leads to a marsh. Along the way you can bird watch for the belted kingfisher, the brown pelican, the great blue heron, and even an osprey. The marsh is loaded with oyster shell depending on when the tide is out. This is a very enjoyable spot.

Wrightsville beach is about 15 minutes away by car. We ride our bicycles to the beach following a bike trail through Military cut off road.

Flying Machine Brewing is one of the best Brewery in Wilmington. The location is nice with a nice outdoor area. They have a good selection of a variety of different styles of beer. The beers were the best I tried in Wilmington. This place can get very busy.

The secret behind their low prices is the store doesn’t purchase brand names but instead buys products from german companies which are not well known. Employees are not paid to stock shelves or bag groceries which cuts down on costs for customers. If you decide to shop at Aldi’s we have provided empty boxes in the front closet for you to fill your groceries with. One last thing, if you wish to use a shopping cart there, you need to deposit a quarter to unlock it from the other carts. You will get your quarter back once you are done with your cart.
