His heirs opened it to the public and people from all over the world come to visit. It encompasses 8,000 acres and has a huge main house, a winery, numerous restaurants, extensive gardens and many shops.

This is a beautiful place to visit, many different plants from around the world as well as native plants are exhibited. They also have changing art exhibits on a regular basis.
