I suggest that you walk from the apartment to "Birk Sport Sagene". Marcus Thranes Gate 2, 0473 Oslo. From there go downwards towards the city. Its 45-60 minutes walk.
If you go upwards to the place where you can swim. From "Birk Sport Sagene" you go towards (away from the center) "Nydalen" 45-60 minutes walk.
Just ask locals if you need help.
