“Lady Liberty!! You can't leave New York without giving her a visit. Make sure you buy your tickets online or at the Battery Fort. You will meet people along the way trying to sell you tickets at 'reduced' fares...STAY AWAY. A free way to see her is by taking the Staten Island ferry...but you won't stop on the island. ”

“A tiny little wisp of a park, but probably my favorite park in the city (and I live around the corner from the much more grandiose Brooklyn Bridge Park). I'll bring along a book to read, and sometimes I do, but it's a better place for people watching. Grab a cuppa from the coffee shop on the corner, Tekoa. ”

“Beach 97th is an eclectic mix of seasonal Rockaway staples. Like all concession areas in Rockaway, an ample, colorful dining area is available. Head's up- Most places are CASH ONLY, but there is an ATM onsite. Breezy's BBQ: Picture yourself beachside eating pulled pork sandwiches or briskets. Palenque: Columbian Arepas! UMA's: just like its Rockaway Beach Blvd location, UMA's is the go-to for Asian Cuisine. Rockaway's first ever Michelin Rated Restaurant. Lobster Joint: Giving New England a run for it's money. City Sticks: Insanely good ice cream. So yum. La Ceviecheria: Peruvian ceviche. La Fruiteria: Cold Brew & Avocado Toast, among other delicacies. ”
