“Barbecue & Southern cuisine served in a cool, wood-paneled house with modern, cowboy-chic decor.”

“Great BBQ and they often play beautiful dulcimer music, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Virginia and North Carolina BBQ. The inner building is pre-war (as in Civil -- so it dates back prior to 1860).”

“Fun burgers. The Elvis has peanut butter :-) Only open during warm weather months.”

“An extensive menu of American fare, focused on breakfast, in a relaxed setting with a lunch counter.”

“Really enjoyed lunch inside at this casual, fireside-style restaurant, but there are outside 'fires' at individual tables on the decks. There's a weekend breakfast buffet that looks good. Do try the 'Campfire Potatoes' side: creamy, cheesy, redskin -- delicious. Onion soup great. Salads fresh, cornbread moist, and s'mores dessert with dark chocolate was also wonderful. I am anxious to try dinner -- as they have prime rib on their evening menu, and there's a specific fire to make your own s'mores! A very nice surprise, as we weren't expecting very much.”

Restaurante italiano
“Not our most favorite local Italian, but in the neighborhood for a long time now in a new location. We have liked their steak & cheese sandwich for takeout -- it's just a 5-minute drive from us. Mixed online reviews, and their own responses, make us... hesitant to recommend this place. In a brand-new building, kitty-corner to, and across the highway from Hank's.”

“Really good 'burger (but pricey; they have the meat-free BeyondBurger, too). Fun people-watching at base of slopes and chairlift. In season, there's a great barbecue buffet offering on Monday evenings.”

Lugar de parrillas

“So...I don't drink coffee, and this new shop doesn't offer cocoa but the interior intrigues me, nonetheless. They feature a cold brew coffee brand called "Snowing in Space" -- and have a bunch of Star Wars memorabilia in their small space, along with diner counter seating, and a lot of other coffee options -- including cold coffees. It's a quirky spot, so if you want to try something beyond the Keurig it!”
