“One of my favorite "guilty pleasures." Frady's is just a "joint" or "hole in th wall." Attracts lots of colorful local characters, and the same family has been running it forever. Great place to get a poboy. Just a few sidewalk tables for dining. ”

“They have a great selection of alcohol and wines. They have high end stuff and more budget friendly bottles as well. The staff is helpful, especially in the champagne department. This is if you would like to have some drinks at home. There is a place to eat, but I havent had lunch there, but it gets busy so my guess is that its good. They close early, so check their hours.”

“The closest Whole Foods. You could drive, take the streetcar and walk two blocks or grab a ride share if you want a larger selection of organic foods than Rouse’s carries.”

“The New Orleans Food Co-Op is our primary grocery store. It's like attending a local farmer's market every visit. It's across the street from St. Roch Market, a multi-vendor, foodie, must visit in the Marigny.”

“Open 24/7 . A classic, nearly impossible to avoid New Orleans experience. "I need to eat something" is a phrase that one hears in the Quarter as the faithful stumble out of every bar and alley way like Zombies marching towards Verti Marte at 5 in the morning.”

“Central Grocery is famous for the muffuletta sandwich, which is composed of Italian deli meats, Provolone cheese, and olive salad. Be prepared to get your hands greasy from this overloaded sandwich. It’s worth it though for this local favorite! ”
