“At this place, tradition meets modernity. A romantic journey from today to yesterday. A small paradise on Earth. Since all traditional objects match harmoniously with the large- impressive bar. Jazz, rock and lounge music ... are your companion while you enjoy your cocktail on the terrace by overlooking the sunset. The staff with its funky mood will cheer you up, since they know how to do it better than all. ”

“Kastania’s Cave (or St Andrew’s Cave named after the nearby small church) lies in Peloponnese's south tip, unseen at the foot of Mt. Parnonas’ east mountainside, at a short distance from Neapoli, Laconia. The wide diversity of rock shapes, colours and forms have made it the cave number two of its kind across Europe! It covers an area of 1,500 m2, shaped in two levels and the visitable part is 500 m. long.”

“Cape Maleas Lighthouse is located at the southernmost edge of the mainland Greece. A rather demanding hike will lead you to the lighthouse. We recommend waking up really early for this, as the hot sun can make it a bit exhausting.”

“The tranquility and the charm of the region will carry you away. The port is a popular anchorage for yachts and boats since it is protected from all the winds. The landscape and the village create a unique beautiful setting. The Acropolis of Zarakas is situated above the village, at the northeastern end of the bay. Note that at the end of the bay, there is also an important wetland. Enjoy fresh seafood throughout the year, since the owners of the local businesses are fishermen in profession. ”

History Museum
“The archaeological collection of the fortress of Monemvasia is housed in an old mosque in the main square in the lower town, opposite the town cathedral of Elkomenos Christos. This small museum contains artefacts chiefly found during work to repair the monuments and surface exploration carried out over the past decades. The collection consists mainly of architectural sculptures and ceramic objects used in daily life. The sculptures are from the church of Aghia Sofia and the ruined mid-Byzantine church excavated at the Georgoulas residence, and date from the end of the 12th century. The latter is one of the earliest monuments in the fortress with a marble altar screen.”

“Best known for Simos beach, with golden sand dunes, tamarisk trees and bountiful fish, Elafonisos was, until 2,000 years ago, a peninsula and home to a breed of small red deer (“elafi” in Greek). A mighty earthquake, however, broke it off from the Peloponnese and turned it into the region’s only inhabited island. Elafonisos is a place of outstanding natural beauty, protected under the Natura 2000 network, and a paradise for water-sports enthusiasts. Just off the coast lies the sunken city of Pavlopetri dating to the 3rd millennium BC, which some say inspired the Atlantis myth.”

“This is the best known spot in town, as it occupies a prime location at Plytra's award winning white-sand beach. It is a restaurant and bar often playing hit music, open well into the night and sponsoring occasional nightlife events and beach volleyball competitions. It has many sunbeds/umbrellas for rent as well. However, off-season or before 11am, it is peaceful.”
