Little yurt

A beautiful little yurt, sleeps 2, either a double or twin. Set next to a bubbling stream on a working lakeland sheep farm. On the findge of the Wasdale valley on the western side of the lake district. Ideal for a cozy romantic get away or base for exploring the amazing area. The yurt DOESN'T have any electricity in but it does have a lovely little wood burning stove and you have access to a mini kitchen in the utility room a short distance away . Our self contained studio is in the heart of the Lake District National Park in north west England. It has stunning valley, forest and woodland views from the window. Our nearest town is Keswick 5 miles by bus, boat, boot or car. We're in a perfect location for walks, water sports, touring villages, or just sitting back to relax! We provide all our guests with our 'walks from the door' which we have written ourselves: 12 walks of varying lengths that you can enjoy straight out of the gate.

Originally built in 1696 as a shepherds cottage, Foxwood Cottage is situated in Borrowdale, just outside Keswick in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Lake District National Park. The River Derwent runs past the cottage and it's surrounded by some of the finest views, walking paths and trails the park has to offer, from an easy walk to a nearby pub or restaurant or a more strenuous hike up Scafell Pike - the highest mountain in England. Sorry, no dogs or other animals allowed.
