Enjoy a coastal getaway while trying out tiny living. This tiny house is set on a waterfront lot in a rural wooded setting. It has all the amenities of home, in smaller size. Access the beach via our private trail, paddle our kayaks, stargaze from the loft skylight, or hike the trails at the state park close by. Located in a lush setting just 15 mins from Olympia, 8 mins from Lacey.

The Bayside Bungalow tiny house is perched on a hill above a shoreline bluff, with peek-a-boo views of the Puget Sound, nestled between fruit trees and surrounded by a lush garden and tall fir trees. This is a great place to relax, listen to the birds, wander the beach & stargaze from the loft skylight.
In response to COVID-19, reservations are spaced at least 1 day apart (if not more) & the house is fully cleaned & sanitized with a CDC-approved alcohol-based sanitizer spray. Linens are washed in hot water & rotated to increase shelf time before re-use.

~Kitchen with mini fridge, cooktop, microwave & french-press coffee maker & cookware
~Pantry essentials: Oil, sugar, coffee, tea, & spices
~Mini gas fireplace & electric heater

Enjoy a campfire at the fire ring near the tiny house. A hammock is for your use, hung between two fruit trees. You'll have the upper yard to yourself; the lower yard is reserved for other guests' use, but you may walk through to access the beach. The beach is accessed via a short, stepped trail down the bluff on our property. Kayaks, paddles & life jackets are provided for you to roam the shoreline afloat. Tolmie State Park is a stone's throw away, which has a beautiful estuary for kayaking through and several miles of hiking trails. A private parking area is provided for 2 vehicles, and street parking is available as well. This lot is shared with my parents who live in a log home on the 1-acre lot, and with guests in a small cottage that they rent out as well.

~Ceiling clearance in the kitchen is 6’ 2”.
~Climbing in and out of the loft bed on a narrow, steep ladder requires agility and balance. See the photos in this listing and consider whether you will be able to climb up and down from the loft without putting yourself in danger.
The Bungalow self-built by your host & is based on the Cypress design from the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company.
Booking Minimums:
~Minimum stay: 4+ night minimum bookings for 2 months out+. If you're interested in 2 or 3 nights, message me to be put on a waiting list & I will message you if the night is available less than 2 months prior. Single nights available within one week of arrival.
~Pets are not allowed. Violation of the no-pets policy will incur a $250 charge of the security deposit.

Although very quiet & rural, the Bungalow is just an 8-minute drive from coffee shops, restaurants & grocery stores in Lacey, and a quick 15-minute drive from artsy, whimsical downtown Olympia.
