This home offers awesome views of the mountains from across a golf course.
The furnishings, bedding, and pillows, are very high quality, and it is a very comfortable room for two, with a large closet.
Late arrivals are no problem, early departures too.
The bathroom is just across a hallway, though it is shared with other guests.
We often have several people staying here, and this room is closest to the kitchen, so we offer a white noise machine in case of any noise.
I love welcoming guests into my beautiful home. This is the only bedroom on the main floor. You also have a conveniently located bathroom right across the hall from your room. The bathroom is used by other guests.

Please be advised there are times when 10+ people are staying here. I try to make that very clear, and yet I still have people with "social anxiety" who book here and then are uncomfortable.
Please use common sense. A guest recently showered with the shower curtain on the outside of the bathtub. Common sense is the opposite of that.
No smoking inside.
No guests without permission.
We expect you to respect our beautiful home and its contents as if they were your own.
We try to maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 7am, to be respectful of people in the home who may have early flights or work late hours. That said, this room is nearest to the space where people usually congregate, so on a Friday and Saturday especially, if you are only looking for undisturbed sleep and not being social, my place may not be the best option.
With 4 homes to manage, and after 2.5 years and nearly 2,000 guests have stayed in my homes, all while maintaining Superhost status even though I am rarely present, I've concluded I must be doing something right :)
My secret is to let my quality long-term guests be surrogate hosts to the short-term guests. Not as a job, or even as a formal discussion, but because the long-term guests are naturally social people who want to help visitors.
One home in Colorado is near the airport, on the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, with awesome views of the course, front range, and downtown Denver. You can see three 14ers from here, Pikes Peak is 71 miles away, Mt Evans is 50 miles, and Longs Peak is 56 miles away, with lots of snow capped mountains in between. Downtown Denver is about 18 miles, Boulder is 35 miles.
The other Colorado home is just 3 minutes away, for overflow and ease of management :)
The home in Michigan is in the epicenter of "automation alley", literally 5 minutes away from many technology companies, yet one of the most peaceful and private locations in this area, on 16.5 acres. As a robotics engineer, and social impact entrepreneur, I prefer engineers and engineering students as guests in this location. Only 1 mile to M-14 and Beck Rd, 4 minutes to downtown Plymouth, 20 minutes to Ann Arbor, 23 minutes to DTW airport, 30 minutes to downtown Detroit.
The Hawaii home is on the Big Island, about 10 minutes to the Kohala Coast beaches and 20 minutes to Waipio Valley on the other side of the island. Kamuela is where Keck and other telescope companies are based, in between Kona and Hilo on the "Belt Road", or Mamalahoa Highway. Waimea is also where Hawaii Preparatory Academy and Parker School are located, two world-class private schools.
Our goal is always to create quiet, comfortable spaces, where guests from all over the world can become part of an extended "family", even if just temporarily.
My homes are your homes while you are my guests, and I thank you very much for the opportunity to be your host!
