Tucked deep in the backyard of our home in the heart of Athens, the quiescent Nomad offers a woodsy camping feel walking distance from the action. This vintage 1971 travel trailer is super comfy and overflowing with charm. Guests will fall in love this historic in-town location, a short walk to restaurants, shopping, yoga studios, music venues and sporting events. This cozy space is your perfect home base to nest and restore while adventuring in Athens.
The Nomad has a built in twin bed and the table and bench fold down to make a platform for an air mattress. We will show you how to do this and help if needed. Heat and AC work great. There is a new microwave and mini-fridge, coffee maker, kitchen sink and with cooking essentials. There is a half bath with privacy curtain. The shower/ tub can be found about 30 paces away in the main house which is available at least from 8 am to 8 pm. You will find the camper kitchen stocked coffee/ tea and a light breakfast/ snacks, so please let us know if you have food allergies.
Disponible para huéspedes
Guests can have private off street parking next to the camper as well as covered bicycle or motorcycle parking. We invite guests to enjoy the backyard as well as the covered wrap around front porch with dining table and swing. Guests will have unlimited access to the full bath, kitchen and dining area in the main house between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm daily.
Atención a los huéspedes
As the Nomad is in the backyard of our primary residence, we will be around to assist with any needs that may arise. Sometimes we have long workdays but are always available by phone to address any needs or concerns that arise. We love meeting people and are happy to interact and help you make the most of your visit to Athens. If you just want to do your own thing, that's cool too. We will respect your privacy in the camper but you will likely see us in the yard and the main house.

Greetings! My co-host (and husband) Jesse Jackson and I are excited to share our camper with you! We have lived in Athens since around 2000 and have been in this neighborhood for a while. We love it here! When we bought this home we knew we would be here for the long haul. We share our home with a delightful middle-schooler and 4 mostly delightful cats. We love animals, travel, reading, music, laughing, meeting new people and adventures of all kinds, but we also love watching movies on the couch.
