This first-floor condominium apartment located on Iliili Road is just half a block away between two of the most scenic beaches in all of Maui: Charley Young Beach & Cove Beach, which is Kihei's best surfing spot.

THE SPACE
You'll have entire apartment with 500 sq ft of space plus a large private patio. Includes a full kitchen, one bedroom with King size bed, living room with large screen TV with streaming apps, sofabed couch, private bathroom, and free wi-fi internet. Air conditioners both in the living room and in the bedroom.

THE INTERIOR
This cozy one-bedroom one-bathroom plus living room ground-floor apartment is recently decorated with a casual island style. It is located in a charming older two-story apartment building which houses only 8 units in total, so the building has a character that is more residential than busy resort complex. The inside of the apartment features new flooring in living room and bedroom, new granite countertops plus brand new stainless steel refrigerator and oven/range in the kitchen, and hotel-quality furniture throughout. The space is set up for ideally for two persons, as there is one King size bed in the bedroom. But there is a sofa bed in the living room that folds out into a size full bed to accommodate a third person if needed. The private patio faces West for quiet views of sunset skies toward the ocean which is just behind the residences across the street. The East-West direction of the apartment means cross breezes gently waft through the apartment when trade winds are flowing. The apartment can be kept comfortable by cross breezes or by using the air conditioner in the living room, plus an additional portable style air conditioner in the bedroom.

WHAT'S INCLUDED INSIDE
A set of linens and pillows and a comforter are provided in the bedroom, plus a set of bath towels and beach towels. A starter set of liquid soap, shampoo and lotion, coffees, paper towels, toilet paper, etc are also provided. The kitchen has a new full size refrigerator with ice maker, new stainless steel electric oven with ceramic cooktop, new microwave oven, plus small appliances including a coffee maker, toaster, and blender in addition to an array of kitchen utensils, silverware, glasses and mugs, plates and bowls, pots and pans, etc. There is also a hair dryer and an iron. The living room includes a large 55-inch flat screen smart TV for use streaming apps as well as with the DVD player. Two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a small cooler are provided as well.

THE EXTERIOR
Being that the building is an older building, it has that charming old-school look to it. The apartments provide comfort inside and most importantly it is in a superb location being steps from the gorgeous beaches along this short residential street, and within easy walking distance of a wide variety of shopping and dining and water activities.

PARKING FREE ON STREET
Parking on the residential street directly fronting the apartment building is free, as the parking spots in rear of the building are reserved for other purposes.

The patio door to this apartment has a keypad door lock, and in advance of each stay, guests are provided with a code code for entry. Guests are invited to let themselves in after check-in time on their check-in day, which is usually 4pm or later.

Check-out is equally effortless: guests simply depart at any time prior to check-out time on their final day, which is usually 11am or earlier. Guests checking out requested to notify the host that they have checked out and departed the apartment, so the host knows when it is okay the enter the apartment to prepare for future guests.

As a recap, check-in time is normally 4pm or later, unless an earlier time is possible, in which case guests will be notified on their check-in day when the apartment is ready. Check-out time is before 11am, unless a later check-out time is possible and has been arranged in advance.

Otros aspectos a destacar
There is a free shared Wi-Fi internet connection for this apartment, (subject to rare but possible outages, like any other internet services that can go down...) The name of the wireless network and password are provided on a card inside the apartment. In the living room there is a Large 55-inch 4K flat screen TV plus a DVD player.

While the interiors of the apartments are updated and modern, the property is a basically a private no-frills residential-style building with no pool or hot tub or bbq grills.

There is a laundry room onsite which has washing machines and coin-operated clothes dryers, $1 per drying cycle. The grounds and the building are subject to occasional maintenance aimed at improving the exterior look of the property, including weekly visits from a landscaping crew and quarterly visits for standard pest control treatments. In an effort to "go green" using renewable energy sources, an array of solar photovoltaic panels have been installed on the roof to generate electricity, but please continue to conserve electric whenever possible.

This charming condominium apartment building on Ili`ili Road in Kihei is perfectly situated on the ocean side of South Kihei Road, nestled on a quiet street in an ideal location between two scenic sandy beaches in either direction: Charley Young Beach on the south side, and Cove Beach on the north side. The walk in either direction to each public beach access is half of a block and there is no need to cross busy South Kihei Road when walking to them. Connecting these two beaches on the ocean side is a lovely green lawn elevated over the water providing a perfect setting for watching nightly sunsets. Cove Park is the premiere spot in Kihei for surfing and stand-up paddling, and the entry area for this calm ocean inlet is also located a half block away at the north end of the street.

The neighborhood street Iliili Road is only about two blocks long and contains only homes and vacation rentals, no large resorts, so it is relatively quiet yet well located for enjoying easy access to a large variety of fantastic activities, restaurants and shops all nearby within walking distance.

Another block away is the large oceanside Kalama Park, which is the site of annual festivals including both Whale Day in February and Earth day in April. Kalama Park has jogging and bicycling trails, volleyball courts, tennis courts, covered gazebos, jungle gym playground, basketball courts, baseball fields, and even an outdoor roller skating rink and skateboarding park.

A grocery store within walking distance is Foodland four blocks away, plus there is an open air fresh fruit and vegetable market about six blocks away, and the convenience store ABC is three blocks away. Additional beaches and resorts in Wailea or Makena, and shopping at high-end The Shops of Wailea, are just minutes driving distance away.
