Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

If you aren't, we ask that you kindly, find another place to stay. Our cabin is different, a work in progress as funds are available, and a great location in Rock Ck. We want to share it because we aren't there often, love to share, and appreciate your help with expenses, maintenance, and taking care of guests.

Lots of light and large windows to see the scenery. Only 20 miles to Missoula and Hamilton, Montana. (We love dogs, but please do not just bring your pet -- inquire first please.)

Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

Cabin has one queen bed on main “open” floor, 2 beds in loft, (one queen and one full). Loft has a sturdy built in ladder, not suitable for toddlers or little kids. Equipped with gas cook top, refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathroom w/ shower, tv (DVD's and ROKU). Situated approximately 5 miles from the Clark Fork River, and 1 mile from public Montana Government Lands (Pontoon boats available to rent for self-guided tours, please inquire.)
