Duffus House Lodge - rural retreat

The Lodge is a traditional gate lodge located at the entrance to Duffus Estate, on the edge of the small village of Duffus. Set in from the Elgin/Duffus B road, it is surrounded by Estate woodland and open fields which are home a host of wildlife, such as our cheeky red squirrels or shy roe deer. We welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs and you can explore the network of paths across the Estate and beyond. Duffus is only 2 miles from the magnificent Moray coast with its unspoilt sandy beaches.

Fochabers is a beautiful village on the river Spey, we are a stones throw from Gordon Castle and on the Speyside Way. Great Glen Cabin is situated on the Great Glen Way on the edge of Inverness. Situated 2 miles from the town centre and on two bus routes, this makes an ideal choice for two people passing through or staying longer. There is a double bed and also a simple sofa bed (sleeping bag required). Fast WiFi and parking for two cars. The cabin is situated in the front garden of my house. Bedding and towels supplied. Closest shop 1 mile away. Gaelic and English spoken. Fàilte oirbh uile.

There are 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and a sofa-bed in the lounge can accommodate a further 2 guests if needed

A unique and peaceful get away awaits you at ‘Osprey Hide’. Our converted steading has open views over farmland and woodland that stretch over Findhorn Bay. This is a great spot to watch the Moray Ospreys as they range over the Bay. Outside you will find a private spa tub, patio and BBQ area. We are close to Forres and Findhorn Bay is a short walk / bike ride from the door. There are lovely country walks all around us.
