Set within the grounds of the Manor House, It is a quirky upside down cottage with a well appointed modern kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with sitting room upstairs, private garden with table and chairs. There are no other holiday cottages in the grounds.

Nearby is Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley and Newby Hall. Blessed with open fields on 3 sides, which includes a lovely spot to sit outside and unwind or watch the sunsets. Daleside Cottage is one of two cottages in the converted cart shed building, set in the middle of 100 acres of farmland with spectacular views. Luxury super king/twin beds, log burner and beautiful interiors await. Enjoy walking trails direct from the door or explore the many sights of Yorkshire from this central location. One well behaved dog is welcome.

We look forward to welcoming you to our renovated Cow Byre just a short drive from Ripon. Separate to our main home, and having wonderful views, guests can visit nearby Fountains abbey, Brimham rocks, Grassington and lots of other lovely places of interest, as well as nearby walks. We have used high quality fittings throughout from Loaf seating, beautiful light fittings, Sophie Conran crockery, SMEG kettle and toaster, as well as featuring art by a local artist David Stead.

Thompson's cottage is located in the garden of our family home, with parking in front of the village hall, (next door) The cottage is a cosy space with a modern feel, comprising of one main living area with a king size bed, seating for 2, a small but well equipped kitchen and a pull out table, a modern stylish bathroom with large shower. Sawley is quiet village, within the Nidderdale AONB, and is a great central location for exploring the area, on bike, foot or by car.
