It was build in 1937 by the shipping magnate family Livanos for their own use. The Penthouse Suite, the bar and the large Roof Garden with panoramic views of the Acropolis and Mount Lykabettos were constructed for celebrations, parties and to accommodate their guests. The Acropolis line Metro station Panepistimio is only a five minutes walk.
