Secluded mid-century modern A-Frame cabin located in the Pine Hills community of historic Julian, CA. Built in 1969, the cabin completed a 2.5 year renovation in 2023 to meet modern tastes and amenities but keeps the original 60's groovy vibe. This unique family retreat offers a 900 sq ft deck, hot tub, firepits, and stunning views. Julian, a 1.5 hours drive east from San Diego, is a small town with big activities: hiking, biking, fishing, winery/breweries, winter sledding, apple pie eating.

Nestled amongst the oak trees, off an old country road, sits Red Fox Retreat. An almost 2000sqft mountain home on over 5 acres of wilderness and garden. Secluded in the hills, but just a 7 minute drive from the historic town of Julian, an adventure awaits. Enjoy our expansive deck or relax in one of our many hammocks and listen to the sounds of nature. Too hot? Relax inside and enjoy the AIR CONDITIONING before you venture out, or when you return from your day of exploration. Pond is Dry.

The 420 sq ft space includes a 65" HD TV w/DirectTV service, high speed wireless & wired internet, kitchenette w/convection cook microwave, fridge/freezer, w/many other extras. Unit was recently remodeled with new furniture. 1 Queen bed, dbl recliners, & dinette. (Also, the picture of the front of our property is not accurate - Airbnb uses Google photos 😕)

It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

The Brick House at Pine Creek Ranch

The Brick House Is a Unique "Great Room" Guest House with 1,000 sq. ft. of space located on a 30 acre ranch nestled in the amazing San Diego Mountains. The house is surrounded by the Cleveland National Forest. There are trails on the property with breathtaking views plus direct access to Hiking, Mountain Biking, Trail Running and Horseback Riding. The ranch as a whole is simply beautiful! It is very private, quiet and makes for a great romantic getaway as well.
