Fully stocked kitchen with plates, pans, silverware and assorted small electrics as well as microwave, pizza oven, and stove and full size fridge. Welcome to our cozy retreat located steps away from the shores of Lake Barrett. This charming cabin offers 3 bedrooms / 1 bathroom a perfect blend of comfort and rural beauty. Our property provides an open floor plan, kitchen, washer & dryer. Embrace the great outdoors with a variety of activities to enjoy; bird watching, fishing, roasting marshmallows by the fire or snowmobiling in the winter. Come and experience the beauty and serenity of our retreat, where a genuine Minnesota getaway awaits.

Cabeezoe ( half cabin / half gazebo )

Our cabin is nestled in a wooded area & is very private. 15 minutes from 3 different towns with Wadena being the biggest. There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

Country Living

Looking for some quiet and solitude our cabin is located in the country sitting on 20 acres of wooded land with walking trails, wildlife, and solitude. But we are still just a short drive to nearby communities. Sorry we do not allow pets We have kayaks and a canoe for rent enjoy an evening on a nearby lake watching the sunset and listening to the loons or enjoy some fishing from the kayak. In the winter enjoy our Outdoor Sauna, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, or ice fishing.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Nestled in acres of woods by a peaceful lake, this cabin contains plenty of amenities to have special moments with your family. Whether it be enjoying a game of cornhole while grilling a steak, taking the kayak out for fishing, or staying indoors next to the fire place! PLEASE BE AWARE, there is a cabin directly next to this one on the north side, that we share a driveway with.
