Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Our place offers something for everyone..a perfect place to enjoy and make Memories!

Barba Negra Adventure House

Economic, rustic and beautiful! An authentic stay in between the wetlands and rainforest. Rooms are simple but clean with new mattresses. The house is equiped with it's own kitchen with basic equipment: gas stove with oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster and rice cooker. We also offer delicious meals with tropical and local foods in our garden gally. We provide extensive knowledge of activities and the best adventures. Our aim is to make your stay with us your best days in Costa Rica.

Casa el Guarumo

Casa El Guarumo sits at the top of our 4-acre permaculture farm, situated between Parque Internacional La Amistad and the town of San Vito, Coto Brus. Come to reset and unwind. Take in the beautiful mountain views, clean air, and pure water. Enjoy fresh fruit, coffee, and handcrafted chocolate from the farm. Adventure to nearby waterfalls and hot springs, hike the farm trails to the creek, or drift off in a hammock to the songs of the myriad of bird species that can be observed in our area.

Casa Mono Verde: Our Hideaway in Paradise

Our peaceful and quiet “open concept” home is located in the southern Pacific mountains, 3,000 ft. up from pristine beaches to the west with the majestic Talamanca mountains to the east. Temperatures are ideal: daytime max in the 80’s, nighttime lows in the 60’s year round. A stunning view of the Pacific, including the amazing Osa peninsula is only a 10 minute walk up our road. The Rio Águila where you can refresh in large swimming holes and massaging waterfalls is approximately 2 km away.

La cabaña esta totalmente equipada, tiene camas para que 3 personas duerman comodamente, además 2 amacas, 1 colchón inflable y zona de camping, por si desea venir en grupo, eso si, debes traer tu propia tienda de campaña y coordinar previamente la cantidad de personas. El hermoso amanecer y vistas al cerro Chirripó te sorprenderán. Despertarás con el canto de las aves y disfrutarás la paz y tranquilidad de la naturaleza. Relájate en familia, amigos o pareja en este tranquilo lugar.
