We offer bike use, numerous country walks and the excellent water comes from an aquifer (no chemical treatment). ‘Betty’s Bothy’ is a small self-contained barn conversion, adjacent to HART Farm which offers therapeutic visits for children coping with life challenges. It will suit animal lovers (with or without their own well-behaved dog) as the animals can be seen from large windows and you may well wake to the sounds of a cockerel, the eeyore of mini donkeys or the bleating of pygmy goats. All the proceeds for this listing go towards the upkeep of the Hart Farm Animals.

The Salt House Cottage, Pilmoor

Guests have a small private grassed area with a table and chairs. The cottage has dishwasher, washing machine and wood burning stove, all logs included. We do not accept pets. In summer, when the swing seat is out, guests have access to the main garden. The cottage has no internet connection but depending on your network, a good 3G or 4G signal can be accessed. We do not accept bookings from people who smoke or vape. Check in from 2pm, check out 10am.

Sunnyside Cottage comfortably sleeps two people and is an ideal romantic getaway and a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

Ridings Cottage is attached to the owners historic, victorian home with connections to the Bronte sisters. It is self contained with one spacious bedroom which has a very comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed. We are close to Dewsbury Hospital with easy access to Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. M1 and M62 motorway links. We have made the cottage as comfortable as possible to ensure you enjoy your stay.
