The Annex - self contained unit .

The Annex is on a small farmlet, 6 km south of Whangarei, with harbour views. It was a sleepout, built in the 1980's, separate, but next to the main house. It has two bedrooms. There is a double bed and two singles plus a day bed in the living area. The living/ dining area, has a wood fire. There is a small shower room and separate toilet. It is situated about 100 mtr off SH1, so there can be road noise. There are no streetlights and it can be very dark if you arrive after sundown.

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build a space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.
