We are a fully self contained guest unit on 4hecters of farmland that has animals including lambs, chooks and pet dogs. This private unit is an easy ten minute drive from the city centre of sunny Gisborne. It is perfect for a couple who want a weekend away to experience what the East Coast has to offer including our delicious wineries, stunning beaches and coastline, all a short drive away. There is always something to do here from surfing, to local arts and crafts, fly fishing and hiking.

Five-minute drive to the Wharf or Blue Waters beaches. Please note that it's not possible to walk to the beach you see from the front deck - there's a lot of scrub and a tidal river in the way!

The self contained Studio is located behind our Art Deco home, with your own parking bay. Located close to the " viaduct basin " of Gisborne - Restaurants, Kaiti Hill, Museum, Cycleway, Beaches and a short 10 minute walk to the river and Gisborne CBD. The Studio is private and centrally located - a great place to explore all our region has to offer, easily. The studio is perfect for couples, solo travellers and business travellers. Wheatstone Studio

Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

Boutique cottage in CBD

Quiet location in CBD, opposite a café. 2 minute walk to the supermarket and town centre. Close to Taruheru river, near the botanical gardens. You can enjoy the walkway which follows the river to Waikanae Beach (20 min walk), Midway Beach and Kiwa Pools (35 min walk). Or cross the footbridge to the Farmers Market (5 min). Private spa/hot tub available with your own personal entrance. Private, (off street). Fast internet. Laundromat around the corner. Continental breakfast provided.

Magnolia Cottage

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.

Central, Spacious and Comfortable Retreat

Our spacious and comfortable retreat is located in central Gisborne, only a short stroll (200m) away from Ballance Street Village, where you will find great food, coffee and many other bare necessities (post, gift shop, florist, pharmacy, liquor store, etc). Your sunny room is self-contained and situated in a private area of the house with independent access and contactless entry system. Enjoy a luxury king bed, Wi-Fi, TV (freeview, Netflix), workspace and kitchenette.

The Shed - Orchard Retreat

Our two bedroom accomodation is positioned to get the best views out over our citrus orchard. The large deck extends off the spacious open plan lounge and kitchen to allow indoor/outdoor living. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. Full kitchen with everything you may need as well as a bottle of our award winning orange juice. Due our deck and the stairs our property is not suitable for young children. We are a smoke free property and do not allow smoking.

Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Gisborne Dream Suite

The guest suite in the front of our character bungalow is centrally located to Gisborne town with its local eateries and beautiful beaches. Easy walking distance to the Tairawhiti Museum and the Saturday Farmers Market. It has its own separate entrance for you to come and go freely as you explore the Tairawhiti Region. We have created this little haven for wanderers, travellers and whānau (families) who want to enjoy the East Coast.
