Firefly on the Creekside

Stay under the stars with the noisy creek just by your window, and enjoy the soaking tub by the creek. Fish, float, wade, grill on the wood pellet grill or the outside charcoal grill. Sit by the firepit, and listen to nature. A queen size memory foam bed, futon, hot/cold outside shower, composting toilet, running potable water, a short drive to wineries, breweries, and dining. The Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, is 6 miles away. A separate bathroom is on the property. Pets welcome for a fee

Named for a favorite Willy Porter song, "Moonbeam" is a 12'x14' safari tent on a wooden platform with a roof. Listen to tree frogs while drifting off to sleep on a queen size memory foam bed with soft, dreamy linens. The tent features power, lamps, chairs, and a desk. Outside, enjoy a private fire pit or sit a spell on rocking chairs on the back deck. Our Community Shelter, with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker, and our Bath House with flush toilets and hot showers are a short walk away.

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this custom canvas bell tent and outhouse. A lot of time and hard work have gone into creating a beautiful, yet simple and peaceful getaway for couples/friends/family. Inspired by the owner’s love and appreciation of vintage furniture, keepsakes, and old classical music/media, our hope is for those who want a little place to stay, and are wanting something different will check us out. It is still a work in progress with much more to come!

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. If you're dreaming of a luxurious tent experience you've found it! A queen foam mattress with cotton sheets, mini fridge, coffee, and microwave, small charcoal grill, & dishes, hammock and fire ring, outdoor seating are included. Campground bathrooms are about 80 yards away with hot showers, parking a little further on. Sun shade & AC help with heat, but still may be warm during hot days. Night may be cool even with use of space heater.

Non-electric, but provides you with the comforts and essentials to camping in all seasons! Close to the shower house and restrooms. Provides a chance to unplug and relax just 25min outside of Nashville. Luxury camping at its best!
