The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

広々とした静かなお部屋で、ゆったりとした時間をお過ごしください。宿は山里にあり、人に会うことはめったにありませんので、隠れ家的な雰囲気です。室内はリノベーションしてあり、ロフトは昔ながらの土壁と太い梁が特徴です。 駐車場は敷地内にあり、2〜3台の駐車が可能です。敷地入り口がやや狭く不便です。運転に慣れていない方にはご迷惑をおかけするかもしれません。必要に応じ道案内をいたします。 バーベキュー用品のレンタル料は4人まで2000円、5人～7人は2500円です。生ビールサーバーのレンタルは1000円です。 キッチン用品はご自由にお使いください。調味料、2Lの飲料水.インスタントコーヒーはご利用ください。スーパーまでは車で15分、24時間営業のコンビニは10分ほどのかかりますので、必要な食材やお飲み物は購入してからお越しください。 テレビは設置しておりませんが、ロフトにはプロジェクターやDVD、BDプレーヤーがあります。 近くに日帰り温泉（保科温泉、まきばの湯、湯ーぱれあ、湯ったり苑）があります。 洗濯機はありませんので、長期滞在の場合はコインランドリー（車で15分）をご利用ください。

This family-friendly and the newly renovated house is located in the very traditional district and the calm but convenience area in Nagano city. The house is authentic and unique as it was a traditional Japanese clothing (Kimono) shop before. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.

The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
