Family Friendly Lakefront Cottage, Ambajejus Lake

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This is a large (1600 sq. ft.) kid friendly cottage that has all of the conveniences of a home with the beauty and charm of a lakefront cabin. The construction was finished in 2024 so everything is new including the furniture and appliances. The cabin waterfront is in a shallow cove. The depth at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet making it a good place for wading and exploring for kids. Water shoes recommended.

4-Season Cabin next to Morgan's Beach on beautiful Cold Stream Pond rented year round. This is the perfect location for a family vacation or business/working people who travel and have temporary assignments lasting one week to several months. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 3 night minimum. Cottage is located at 32 Lake Avenue, Brownville, Maine 04414. Turn right at A.E. Roberson's convenience store in Brownville, Maine onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for 4.7 miles and turn right onto Schoodic Lake Road. Follow Schoodic Lake Road for Approx. 4 miles. Bear right after crossing the railroad tracks and 32 Lake Ave. will be on your left at our mail box.

Welcome to our cozy, vintage home! A nearby walk offers access to shops, art galleries, restaurants, and playgrounds. The area offers many hiking opportunities, too, including the Appalachian Trail, Baxter Park, and Mt. Katahdin. Kayaking, fishing, and bird-watching available right from the yard, and swimming, moose tours, rafting, hunting, and snowmobiling are also nearby! The host, a state-registered Master Guide, is able to issue hunting/fishing licenses on-site (see "Other" heading).

Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located on Ambajejus Lake, we are only 8 miles outside of Millinocket and about 15 to Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo.

Leave behind the hustle and bustle of life and relax in our chalet in the shadow of Katahdin. Our 3 story log home has a large "penthouse" waiting for you with a private bedroom upstairs and a private bathroom on the main floor along with a private living room with a 55" tv, Starlink internet, kitchen, a deck with a view of Ambajejus Lake and a BBQ grill along with a table and chairs with umbrella.

Your very own log cabin! Moosehead Cottage Resort

Our cabins have a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer. Each cabin has a fireplace which only burn Duralogs or clean burn logs except for Cabin 8 which has a propane fireplace. You will love the Cedar Log Cabins, the atmosphere and the surroundings. Some of our cabins have one bathroom only and we also have townhouse cabins. We will notify you of type of availability when you reserve.
