The Stables, an airy modern double bedroom with en suite in a lovely converted railway station with its own entrance. Situated on the outskirts of the rural village of Drax. The house is secluded and sits within 2.5 acres surrounded by trees. You will have the benefit of a shared breakfast room with complimentary cereals, toast & pastries. This quiet, spacious and comfortable room has a soft and supportive king-sized bed, made up with fresh, soft linens, a big wardrobe and a professional workspace. You will have access to the shared spaces in the rest of the house, including two bathrooms (both with showers, one with a bath), a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room with wood burner, bar area, gym and garden- shared with myself and usually other guest/ guests. Towels, toiletries, tea and coffee, will be provided.

Artist’s home, Guest Suite, Tadcaster

We are NOT in the city of York, but a separate town 9 miles away, just to clarify. We moved to this characterful house in Tadcaster 5 years ago, slowly renovating with a ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. This room is on the first floor and is en-suite. We are happy to host families with little children on the sofabed and dogs if they’re ok with our cat? Tadcaster is halfway between Leeds & York with many local historic towns for exploring and several wedding venues close by for revellers.
