The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed is part of The Grey House circa 1904, 129 Ridge Road, Scotts Landing on the edge of the Mahurangi River. The space was house potting shed and laundry and has now been repurposed to create a magical memorable space with singles and couples in mind to have space to relax and get away from noise and day to day pressures. Located 20 minutes from the Matakana and gateway to Omaha, Goat Island, surrounding vineyards and galleries. Please note access to a loft bed is by ladder.

Kōtare Cottage - private, tranquil, on the water!

Haere Mai! Looking for a slice of paradise, a tranquil haven where you can relax and revitalise? This 100yr old cottage is named for the Kōtare (kingfishers) that live here. All are welcome! Surrounded by ancient trees, water and birdlife, the cottage is an eclectic mix of modern and vintage finds. If you’re after a hotel experience, this may not be the place for you! Looking out over the semi-private beach you’ll feel miles from the city, yet downtown is just a 10min drive away.

The studio with HRV ventilation, heatpump and double glazing is ideal for solo travellers, couples with or without one small child. Please note that our downstairs studio has a low ceiling (1.98m high) and we don’t have a full kitchen. Breakfast: Tea/Coffee (Nespresso Machine)/Cereal and milk included.
