Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Romantic Medieval Castle

Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

The Surf Shack, Causeway Coast, Ballycastle.

The Surfer’s Shack is a unique tiny space created from an upcycled shipping container. The decor is inspired by the local Causeway coastline. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded getaway, this is the place for you, as the shack is surrounded by rolling county Antrim farmlands, all the while being within minutes of the top spots such as the giants causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the dark hedges and the Bushmills distillery. A little further (15 minutes drive) will take you to Portrush.

The Burrow is a ground floor luxury log cabin with exclusive use of private garden, patio and hot tub. The apartment is a 30 minute drive from the stunning North Coast attractions and a 45 minute drive from Belfast. Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.
