Mill House - Villa on Forgotten World Highway

This lovely villa was built in the early 1900’s by the McCluggage Family, who operated sawmills in the area. Their endeavors included the construction of a tunnel, in 1924, at the rear of the property to provide access to timber on the Whangamomona Saddle where it still remains today. Mill House is a fully furnished, four bedroom/one bathroom home that comfortably sleeps eight. Orchard Cottage is a lovely relaxing place for a family/ couple or someone in Taranaki for work to stay. It has 2 living areas, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen bed, double bed and double fold out in the the second living area. Plus a small laundry area. The cottage has a nice covered outdoor eating area and BBQ with a lovely rural outlook. It is located on our property with good parking and fully fenced.
