Private, sunny and sheltered, in this peaceful location you will fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to bird song. Access to the Hut is a few minutes up a walking track. Close to the beach and esplanade. Surfing, biking, swimming, walking tracks, cafes all on hand.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the end of a private laneway. Accessed by external steps, the house is split into two pods connected by an external deck. Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

With easy access to coastal walking tracks, 500m walk to the beach, 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins to Christchurch central this space is the perfect getaway spot. A beautiful private hill-side sanctuary in Sumner overlooking Christchurch with a clear view to the southern alps, estuary & the whole of pegasus bay. This ecologically & sustainably designed home off a private lane surrounded by native bushland with arguably one of the best views in town. With less than a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk downhill you will have access to Sumner Beach and Village. Alternatively a short walk uphill to access mountain bike and walking tracks on the Port Hills.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

Great for a couple, our wee garden hideaway nestled on the lower slopes above Redcliffs has a commanding view and a charming 'tiny home' feel. Completed in 2023, this cabin has everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing stay. With bellbirds singing, enjoy the sunrise from your bed and the ever changing view.
