Located on the lower level of a private dwelling, this self - contained facility (including separate bathroom/toilet - upgraded Nov 2022), is situated in a private garden setting. Suitable for 2 – 3 people, the living area is bright and welcoming. An off street parking bay is available with entry to the facility only metres away. The kitchenette includes a microwave, electric jug, toaster and fridge. Introductory, tea, coffee and breakfast cereal provided.

It has a lounge with a Queen sofa bed, dining room table, full size fridge/freezer, your own private bathroom and a separate queen bedroom with kitchenette. There is a separate entranceway with off street parking. Located close to two family safe beaches and Howick Village. There are plenty of options for cafes, shopping and walking tracks. Our waterfront accommodation is a great place to relax and unwind conveniently located overlooking the picturesque Putiki Bay. Sit on the deck and watch the sunset across the bay. The bay is a tidal and is a great spot for kayaking, paddle-boarding and swimming at high tide. With private waterfront views, the cottage is in with in easy reach of the islands beaches and local amenities, with the Ostend market and supermarket only 10 min walk.

Welcome to our little slice of paradise. Charming, bohemian style studio nestled downstairs of our family home on the bottom level with your own entrance. Enjoy waking up and hearing the tuis sing, put your walking shoes on and take a stroll through the bush to Mellons Bay Beach. The Main Street of Howick is just 5mins drive away where you can access local restaurants and pubs, the Monterey Movie Cinema and a boutique shopping experience.
