With amazing views and the Taste Tasman cycle trail at the end of the road this is the perfect retreat to get away from it all. We're lucky to be surrounded by farmland, countryside, mountains, sea, National Parks, fresh air and birdsong. Just a short 10 minute drive from the popular village of Mapua and 10 minutes from Motueka this artistic, modern, roomy and stylish studio is a perfect getaway. The Studio is located at the rear of our home property, down a private drive, with ample parking.

Spacious Suite - Motueka Town

Relax in your own suite - bedroom, living room + private bathroom - part of our large home. A flat 1.5k walk from the centre of Motueka, and 15 min (13km) drive to the beautiful beaches around Kaiteriteri. The perfect base from which to explore all that the Abel Tasman area has to offer. The suite is at the far end of our house with its own separate entrance. It opens onto a large deck which is - most days - bathed in morning sunshine, the perfect spot for your morning coffee or breakfast.

Welcome to "The Apple", our Tinyhouse on wheels. Situated outside of the delightful township of Motueka we have built this tiny retreat and are super excited to be able to offer this unique accommodation experience to others. Lie in bed and watch the stars or enjoy the view out across the Tasman bay. Staying in a tinyhouse is an experience. Modern, bright and comfortable "the Apple" is a perfect escape, a relaxing weekend getaway with the beautiful Tasman region at your doorstep.

Once a pottery shed now a one bedroom cottage with ensuite bathroom, fully functional kitchen, living, dining areas and rear patio area with afternoon sun and views of the mountains. Within walking distance of Motueka town centre, Motueka golf club, taste trail cycle path and all local amenities.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
